Sonya joined the team early on in 1992 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002. She has taken on many roles since this time, including being an assessor and clinical coach to trainee Vet nurses at the practice. Her main interest lies in all things feline, especially their behaviour and at the moment she is working towards the ISFM Advanced Cert in Feline Behaviour. Sonya holds a City and Guilds Cert in Small Animal Nutrition and helps out our podgy pets by running weight clinics. Sonya’s dream for the clinic has been to have a separate cattery and waiting area which has now been realised. Sonya is now the Welfare team leader and secretary of the newly formed Cats Protection Erne branch. She will help organise all TNR and rehoming of all cats through the branch.
