Monika was born in Slovakia. At a young age she discovered her LOVE FOR ANIMALS and followed her dream of becoming a vet. When she graduated from UVM in Kosice, Slovakia in 2004, her and a friend decided to travel a bit to improve her English. This led her to Devon, England and from there her journey led her to Derrygonnelly, Co Fermanagh. She worked there as a mixed vet exploring the beauty of Fermanagh, and she also spent a couple of years in a mixed practice in the beautiful Co. Donegal.
In 2020 she joined the lovely team at The Brook Veterinary Clinic, pursuing her interests in small animal medicine. She enjoys general practice, with interests in soft tissue surgery, wound and pain management, and geriatric medicine - improving the lives of our companions. She also enjoys wild life medicine.
She lives with her hubbie and 2 boys near Enniskillen. Currently she has a Fox terrier named Tilly who loves fun, and some pet fish which are of great interest to her older son.
